REFUNDS, RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS POLICY

Australian Easy Train Pty Ltd (AET) will provide a fair and reasonable refund policy for its students.

PROCEDURE

  • AET will provide all students with access to this refund policy and procedure prior to their enrolment in a course.
  • The Director is responsible for approving all refunds, if a refund is granted it will be direct deposited into your bank account within 14 days of the original receipt being returned to AET.
  • Once a student has begun a course with AET and cannot continue for any reason a refund will not be granted unless special circumstances are previously discussed and negotiated with the director. If you are ill and must leave the course, a doctor's certificate dated the day you leave must be presented to AET in a timely manner.
  • A refund will not be granted if you have already commenced your course, however you may re-schedule your course providing AET have received the doctor's certificate on the day you left your original course.
  • Where an employer has enrolled and payed for a student, AET will only provide a refund when the Employer advises AET of the student's withdrawal from the course at least ten working days before training commences. Alternatively, you can replace the position with another student as long as it is 5 days prior to the commencement of the course to accommodate Worksafe 72 hours' notice of assessment ruling.
  • Where a student withdraws from the course 10 days prior to course commencement or HRW Assessment, a refund will be issued less administration fee. (Refer to your confirmation letter).
  • In the event that an individual that needs to re-schedule their course or HRW Assessment, AET will do so only on one occasion providing we have received ten clear working days' (week days) notice has been provided to AET. If the individual does not attend the rescheduled course or test date, the individual will not be eligible for a refund, or to reschedule. The cost of the original booking will be lost, and a full course or test fee will apply for a new booking.
  • Should the student need to postpone their HRW Assessment from the original course date a full fee will apply to reschedule the HRW Assessment as an assessor needs to be hired & a crane operator (if applicable).
  • Students who withdraw after their course has commenced will not be eligible for a refund.
  • All applications for refunds must be lodged through reception by phoning 9706 4881. Alternatively, you can email your refund request to [email protected].
